The coming of age of web ads

1. One by one, subscription-based online publications are moving back to the free (supported by ads) model - The New York Times, Financial Times (substantially free), Wall Street Journal (will soon be free). When would The Economist follow this trend?

2. More and more blogs now have ads appearing everywhere.

JTBlog and all other joetsang.net sites will remain free and ad-free!

(With such pathetic viewing stats, the whole joetsang.net would barely be able to generate more than a few nickels a year. Nothing to lose by making such high-sounding gesture really)
